1961 Cadillac Fleetwood purchased new from Cooper Pontiac/Cadillac in Plainview, Texas.
Purchased by Wilda's husband the late Claude Hutcherson. Paid cash as he always did when buying cars and many other large ticket items.
It was used by Wilda as her personal car for 3 years and then taken to Ruidoso and used as a Airport car to go back and forth to the Hutcherson cabin in Ruidoso. The Cadillac was driven back to Plainview in 1987 the year Wilda married Harley Redin.
It has been at Hutcherson Air Service in Plainview in an airport hangar ever since. This is a no rust perfect example of a '61 Cadillac Fleetwood and will be auctioned off at the 2004 Texas Classic Car Show to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation® of Central Texas.
We greatfully acknowledge Wilda for donating this beautiful car! We also would like to thank Great Hills Automotive (Richard Hirsch and Ken Kirkby) for all the work they did to get the car in top running condition.
